The critical mass, which created HAZMAT
Jay (Guitar), Dave (Drums) and Duck (Guitar),
3 former members of Neophobia began in 2005 with their musically explosive reunion.
With roots firmly planted in Old Skool Metal, there was no escaping where they would begin their creating process.
After a short period of time the HAZMAT sound began to emerge.
The time came to complete the line-up.
In late 2005 the first enlistee was "Tiny" (Bass), soon to be followed by Fess (Vocals).
After a mass invasion of the inner city clubs and an east coast whirlwind tour,
Tiny and Davey felt it was time to move onto other ventures in their lives.
Fess made a call and enlisted old friend and ex band mate WB to take the primary position on the Drums.
The bass position was still empty, discussion were held and Fess brought his Warlock out of her bass case and took the thunderous spot of bass player/singer
Now with the line up complete, the sound of HAZMAT became clear and defined.
The songs already in hand were reworked and tweaked to maximize their intensity.
New songs are created, emerging from the ashes and rising like a phoenix: they were brought into the fold.
The importance of creating a sound that is true and not just the "flavour of the day" is at the foreground of HAZMAT.
Killer melodic assault Guitar riffs, a heart pounding Rhythm section and lyrics of truth, reality, pain and modern day insanity set to vocals that transcend your soul.
Now armed with an arsenal of blood curdling songs, HAZMAT moved them from the studio to the live forum, where the assault is complete.
