How this band made it to album #2 is beyond me. Just one look at this band screams "carbon copy". Seriously folks we need to find this factory and destroy it.
I Killed The Prom Queen's is the adolescent work of a band that has done a great job of taking just as many "nu-metalcore" bands have done and are still doing. The result is predictable from start to finish. There isn't an inkling of originality heard in this album. In no way could you pick this band out of a crowd, even their haircuts match. And just think; people like this! This band has climbed aboard the overflowing band wagon which is still trudging along and destroying everything that could potentially be considered worthy of a listen. Instead you are overwhelmed by monotony.
What a simple concept; take from every Swedish death metal band, rape the riffs, throw a breakdown in the mix, cycle and repeat, cycle and repeat. But after this point acts like I Killed The Prom Queen took from other crappy "nu-metalcore" bands. "Music For The Recently Deceased" might as well not even have a title. Let this review not fuel the band's drive but rather cause a subjective look amongst the band. I think a cease and desist is in order.
